ROBNET has been in business since 1985 and we are a certified minority business in most states on the Eastern Seaboard. We are also certified in most municipalities in this region (Please see our certification section for more information) This is a bit of our story...

The Beginning

It all began in the basement of Robert's mother’s house. ROBNET became incorporated in October of 1985.

The Dark Ages

At last, out of the basement and into the back corner of an industrial park in Arbutus. We couldn't afford office space, a sign, or even a counting scale. Back then every piece was counted by hand.

Finally, our 1st location with offices and warehouse space as well as street visibility. Growth was the key factor as was "in stock" inventory. Eventually our inventory overtook our office space.

The Beginning of a New Era

We moved into a larger space in the same industrial park. Our growth remained steady into the new millennium and continues today.

New Era #2

This next location was a satellite location in Baltimore City. It was opened to support the construction of a new hotel in Fells Point/Canton. After the completion of the project, this location was closed to the public and used for inventory storage as we were quickly outgrowing our main location in Arbutus, Maryland.

The Future

Years later we bought our 1st building with 25,00 square feet and plenty of office and warehouse space. We were able to consolidate both warehouses into one and we are now located on a major thoroughfare in Baltimore City. ROBNET has grown into a full-service fastener distributor and a major player in our industry.

York Location Opened

ROBNET opens a branch in York, PA and a few years later buys a small tool and fastener company in York bringing new customers and new ROBNET team members.
